In memory of Belinda Lopez, a beloved teacher in Lake Oswego school district. She tutored many students in the Lake Oswego library after school. Her best friend, Mary, met with me and some of Belinda's other friends to come up with images for the mosaic. The mosaic was placed in a 9 foot table made by the Joinery which is now in the Lake Oswego library where Belinda sat when she tutored her students.
